THE RULES:

Please note your name and email address in the track description so that we can easily contact you.

3. The download phase begins on August 10, 2010.

4. The submission phase begins on August 11, 2010 at 12:01 AM EST and ends on September 15, 2010 at 11:59 PM EST.

5. Submissions will be judged by Ultra Records and David Morales. David will pick his favorite remix as the winner.

6. The winner will receive an upgraded SoundCloud Pro Plus yearly Premium account and the winning remix will be release on Ultra Records. Runners up will receive a SoudCloud Lite yearly account.

7. Remixes using “uncleared” samples will be disqualified. An ‘uncleared sample’ is a musical work, loop or sample that you do not own the copyright for (ie: you didn’t create it). You are free to use sounds that were created by you.

8. All remixes submitted for this contest become the legal property of Ultra Records. The results and products of my services shall be considered “work made for hire” for Ultra Records; and Ultra Records shall be considered, insofar as I am concerned, forever, and for all purposes throughout the universe, under the United States Copyright Law and the copyright laws of any other applicable jurisdiction or otherwise, the author thereof, and the sole copyright owner thereof and the owner of all rights therein and of all proceeds derived therefrom and in connection therewith, with the right to make such changes therein and such uses and disposition thereof, in whole or in part, as Ultra Records may from time to time determine as the author and owner thereof. If for any reason the results and proceeds of my services are not deemed to be a work-for-hire for Ultra Records, I hereby assign such results and proceeds and all rights therein and thereto to Ultra Records, irrevocably and in perpetuity. I hereby irrevocably and unconditionally waive any and all moral and like rights that I may have in the Master. Your remix contest submission becomes the legal property of Ultra Records as protection against the release of unauthorized remixes. Prior to any release, winner will will, at Ultra’s request, be required to sign a remix agreement and liability release and, where permitted, a publicity release.

9. All trademarks and logos are protected. All rights of the producer and the owner of the recorded work are reserved. Unauthorized copying, hiring, renting, public performance and broadcasting of this record, remix or remix parts is prohibited.

10. Your submission of a remix in this contest constitutes your agreement to these Rules.
